Chlorine Dosing Plant

We have successfully completed another turnkey project at the Hartbeesfontein Wastewater Treatment Works Chlorination Plant.

This was a 4 [kg/hr] Chlorine gas dosing system which received a 4-20 [mA] flow signal from a flowmeter and dosed chlorine gas proportional to flow.

Equipment Supplied by Clarity Installations

1)     2 x Chlorine Drum Load Cells with Local Indicators
2)     1 x Post Chlorination 4 [kg/hr] Automatic Chlorine Dosing Skid
3)     Chlorine Gas Detector incl. Siren Unit
4)     2 x Extraction Fans
5)     MCC (Motor Control Centre) – with a duty/standby pump configuration to control 2 x 0.55 [kW] Booster Pumps with all necessary Safety Equipment i.e no flow protection to prevent dry running.

Equipment was installed, tested & commissioned by Clarity Installations and operators received basic training.

Once again a successful integrated design based on Clarity and Grundfos equipment!
